001: I guess technically I'm starting again?

Part of me is annoyed because now my numbering scheme on LJ is going to be thrown off, but at this point I'm even more annoyed with LJ, and my paid account expires next week anyway, so making sure my Dreamwidth account is correct is the better option.

So...yeah! Not much is going on with my life, but every now and then I decide I want to remember what it's like to post, so here, have some things:

  • Skyrim has not yet eaten me as much as I thought, because there are other things I like to do and thus I can divide my attention fairly well. That and I'm at such a low level that basically everything I do ends with me dying horribly, because I'm always off doing sidequests instead of bothering to do something about the dragons. It's like playing FF7 and breeding chocobos while the meteor comes hurtling at your planet. Whoops?
  • We're moving soon! Hopefully. [personal profile] corellianrogue and I applied for a townhouse across the street from the apartment complex we're in now, because paying rent on two places when we spend all our time in one place is pretty dumb, and this place is just going more and more downhill anyway. If all goes well, we'll be moving in March. Yay! (Note that it took me so damn long to finish this post that we've since been approved. Fail.)
  • I'd not really had much going on, fandom-wise. Finished Mawaru Penguindrum, which was such a crazy mindfuck, holy shit, but I loved it. I'm still trying to catch up on manga. Then corellianrogue decided we needed the JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul box set, and...well, at least we decided not to watch the whole thing at once? Because otherwise we'll never go to sleep.
  • Work has been insane the last few weeks, and will continue to be so going into March. For those who aren't aware, I do tech support. I won't go into too much detail because I would like to keep my job, but basically, it's the time of year when people are taking care of their books and use our product to do it. So, our call volume is absolutely insane and will be for weeks now. The plus: I've started taking half-hour lunches in order to get an extra two and half hours of overtime each week. \o/ And for all the business and the sometimes rude/entitled customers, I adore my job, something I never once thought I'd say. That said!
    • I was on a call for three hours today with a company whose bookeeper just left them, and no one else had a clue how to use the software. Which meant they refused to let me go, even though they were doing the same thing over, and over, and over, and over...You guys, I missed lunch and had to go home at 4 because they wouldn't let me off the phone. Which sounds awesome except for the part where I get horribly sick if I take my meds without food. But...overtime? :/

So...yeah. I think I've run out of things to talk about. I'm super boring these days, it's sad. :( But I wanted to post something, because I suck at commenting and posting and I feel like if I post I can comment without feeling like a creeper. Yay logic?
